Open Position
To open a position from a chart:
- Do one of the following:
- Click the tag of the current market price.
- Right-click in the chart or in the price values. In the pop-up menu, click Create Market Order.
- In the Trading menu, click Create Market Order.
- Press CTRL + SHIFT + M.
* In the FX Trading Station, the command is available in the Charts menu, in the Trading sub-menu.
The Create Market Order dialog will appear.

- Select Account, Buy/Sell, Amount and Order Type.
- Click OK.
The position will be displayed on the chart in one of the two ways:
- If the price at which the position has been opened is currently visible on the chart, the position is displayed as a line with a label. The label indicates the trade operation (Long or Short), the date and time when the position was opened and the current position profit/loss in pips.
Note: Time is shown only for positions which were opened during the last 12 hours. The date and time is also indicated on the line by the opening mark. - If the price at which the position has been opened is currently not visible on the chart, the position is displayed as a marker.
Notes:
- If the price is higher than prices displayed on the chart, a position marker appears at the top border of the chart.
- If the price is lower than prices displayed on the chart, a position marker appears at the bottom border of the chart.
If you wish to see the price at which the position was opened, click the position marker.

Create Entry Order
To create an entry order from a chart:
- Do one of the following:
- Click the price value at which you want to create an entry order.
- Right-click the desired price value or in the price level on the chart. In the pop-up menu, click Create Entry Order.
Note: You can right-click in any place on the chart and then select or type the rate. - In the Trading menu, click Create Entry Order.
- Press CTRL + SHIFT + E.
* In the FX Trading Station, the command is also available in the Charts menu, in the Trading sub-menu.
The Create Entry Order dialog will appear.

- Select Account, Buy/Sell, Amount, and Rate if necessary.
- Click OK.
The order will be displayed on the chart in one of the two ways:
- If the price at which the order has been created is currently visible on the chart, the order is displayed as a line with a label. The label indicates the trade operation (’S’ for Sell, ‘B’ for Buy) and the date and time when the order was created.
Note: Time is shown only for orders which were created during the last 12 hours. The date and time is also indicated on the line by the creation mark. If the entry order is linked to an OCO order, the right part of its label has the same color as all other orders linked to the OCO order. - If the price at which the order has been created is currently not visible on the chart, the order is displayed as a marker.
Notes:- If the price is higher than prices displayed on the chart, an order marker appears at the top border of the chart.
- If the price is lower than prices displayed on the chart, an order marker appears at the bottom border of the chart.
If you wish to see the order, click the order marker.
Change Entry Order Rate
To change an entry order rate:
- Do one of the following:
- Drag the order line to the desired price level.
Note: You can drag the order line to any place on the chart and then select or type the price. - Right-click the order line, label or marker. In the pop-up menu, click Change Entry Order.
Note: To make sure that the marker is the marker of the appropriate entry order, point to the marker. A tooltip indicating the trade operation (’S’ for Sell, ‘B’ for Buy) and the date and time when the order was created will appear.
The Change Order Rate(s) dialog will appear.

- Drag the order line to the desired price level.
- In the Rate box, select or type the price if necessary.
- Click OK.
Note: If the selected price is not visible on the chart, the order will be displayed as a marker.
Remove Entry Order
To remove an entry order:
- Do one of the following:
- Click the order line or label.
- Right-click the order line, label or marker. In the pop-up menu, click Remove Entry Order.
Note: To make sure that the marker is the marker of the appropriate entry order, point to the marker. A tooltip indicating the trade operation (’S’ for Sell, ‘B’ for Buy) and the date and time when the order was created will appear.
The message Do you want to remove order(s)? will appear.

- Click Yes.
